This DIY elderberry kit is easy to make and makes 32oz of organic elderberry syrup free from preservatives, dyes, synthetic vitamins, and other ingredients normally found in Elderberry sold at a drug store.
Directions: Pour entire contents into 8 cups of water (some will evaporate). Bring to a rapid boil, remove from heat and let steel for 10-15 minutes stirring occassionally. Strain into a bowl with cheesecloth squeezing the juice from the berries. Optional: add 1 cup of local honey and stir. Divide between 4 8oz jars or pour into one large 32oz jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 6 months.
Ingredients: Organic green tea, organic dried elderberries, organic cloves, organic cinnamon sticks.
Warning: not suitable for children under 1 years old if honey is added.
